Techniques to combat Hair Loss
Treatment for hair loss varies and ranges from medication to hair transplant surgery.
Light Therapy
Low-Level Laser Therapy for Hair Loss:
- At DNPC, we use “igrow”, a revolutionary hair growth system that utilizes a combination of red laser and LED
light diodes.
- These beams affect the hair follicles and stimulate hair growth.
- It also provides full scalp coverage and is safe and effective.
- This is a safe form of light therapy to treat the genetic condition of hair fall that is common to both men and women.
Dermapen / Derma Roller
Microneedling/ collagen induction therapy has been affective in reversing hair loss. It does this by stimulating the blood flow, increasing the availability of cell nutrients and the stimulation of stem cells. It can be effectively combined with other treatments for hair loss.
Platelet Rich Plasma Therapy (PRP) for Hair Loss
A relatively new technique of regenerative medicine known as Platelet Rich Plasma therapy (PRP) that is used to help with the regrowth of hair. This treatment consists of using the patient’s own blood to encourage growth and the repairing of damaged tissue which can lead to better growth of the hair on the whole.
Stem Cell Therapy
Stem cells are cells that can help to produce new hair follicles and stimulate them to grow. A technique in which stem cells are introduced which help with the regeneration of new cells through cell division. So after a long pause in the growth process, cell division is reactivated and the hair follicles begin to grow once more. Stem cell treatments are such that hair follicles are stimulated in a non-surgical method.
Hair Transplant
Hair Transplantation is a lifelong investment in looking and feeling your absolute best. It doesn’t just change your hairline and your appearance; it is also about confidence and vigour. Not simply looking younger but feeling a whole new lease of life. The latest FUE hair transplant technique can get you right back to looking and feeling the way you used to before or even better than that. In this technique, the hair follicles from a part of the body called the “donor site” are transplanted to the balding part of the body which is known as “the recipient site”.
